Get down here so I can see that tight end…
“OHSNAP”
Don’t worry about those things over which you have no control. You can’t really stop the progression of school -> job. It’s just one of those things. Don’t feel like it’s you having to go bare your soul to the world and face the brunt of it alone. It’s not like all of us are going to be somehow magically cut off from you and you lose your support and everything that you have known. We’ll all be here, listening to your nervous rambling weeks before that first job starts up, and then we’ll hear the ease of your voice after that first day ends, and all you can say is “It was a piece of cake.”
Finality. There’s nothing final in this world until we die. Sure, you won’t be going to school anymore, but you’ll still be learning. You’ll still have your summer, and it will be much like this one. Vacation time will be the break, and you’ll have to work the rest of it. Believe it or not, you got yourself ready for that this year.
And you want to think you won’t be answering questions and writing papers until you are pushing up daisies? Bullshit. You’ll be writing memos and instruction manuals and all sorts of good business writing. You’ll be answering everything the clients ask.
It’s all like a line out of Shawshank Redemption. When Dufresne is in solitary and the warden comes to him. He tries to get out of running the warden’s dirty money. And the warden says: “Nothing stops. Nothing.” You think everything you know is going to stop, but it won’t, because nothing really stops. It just changes a little.

P.S. This was too long for a comment.
